The Story

Tiger Beat is an iconic news magazine that caters to the teen celebrity fan market. The magazine was established in the 80's and has evolved into one of the top sources for news, contests and pull-out posters on teen celebrities. With more than one million teenage fans flocking to Tiger Beat online and purchasing the magazines, they seemed to be an ideal client for MashON's Creator Technology.

The Results

We approached Tiger Beat with the concept of utilizing the full suite of MashON Technology. First, we would introduce the online audience to our e-card technology aptly named "Star Card". Within 6 months the number of "Star Cards" created exceeded 50,000. This number exceeded the client's expectations and continues to climb each month. The second phase was an extension of the create your own program. We introduced our full creator platform to Tiger Beat's fans, allowing them to create their own magazine covers, utilizing their own images and provided art work. The final phase of our program with Tiger Beat is a continued use of our e-commerce platform. Tiger Beat will develop a line of branded merchandise that is all print on-demand. The product will range from T-shirts, device skins, posters, calendars, greeting cards, post cards and notebooks, to start.
